Description: The owner and staff of Southern Woods Plantation cordially invite you and your guests to visit and experience quail hunting in the traditional “Southern Style.” Your hunt can be conducted from our authentic mule-drawn wagon of from specially designed four-person buggies. Our professional hunting guides and a selection of well-trained hunting dogs will accompany you as you pursue the native bobwhite quail.
Our Spacious lodge at Southern Woods Plantation offers comfort and plenty of room for conferences. It is a pleasant place to relax after a rewarding day of quail hunting.
Southern Woods Plantation is located four miles south of Sylvester, Georgia, amid the towering Georgia Pines and is only thirty minutes from the commercial airport in Albany, Georgia. We offer lodging for up to 22 guests in our comfortably appointed bedrooms each with a private bath. Your overnight visit will include morning and afternoon hunts and a full plantation breakfast and lunch. The day will conclude with a social time for relaxing followed by a delicious evening meal.
